Tricia Todd of Independent Feedback is a founder member of The Association of Independent Visitors (UK).  At Independent Feedback she leads a fully insured and CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checked team offering an innovative visiting service providing advice and an independent, accurate assessment of the current standard and circumstances of your relative’s welfare.

More and more people are now living and working abroad with elderly or vulnerable relatives remaining in the UK. Indeed, recent broadsheet headlines pronounced "Record exodus leaves ageing Blighty". Even for people living in the UK, some find that they are simply too far away from older relatives for whom they feel responsible. They find themselves unable to monitor the health and circumstances of elderly or vulnerable loved ones in care.

Visits are tailored to address your concerns and in depth reports are produced and readily accessible by email or hard copy, together with digital photographs. A detailed knowledge of care providers, local authorities and statutory bodies helps to provide a fully rounded picture.  Further assistance might be offered with regard to applications for statutory funding or sourcing more appropriate accommodation for your loved one.

Each report includes........

information on the individual:

  • Specialist House Clearance and Relocation Service

Tricia Todd and the CRB checked team offer urgent prior to house move preparation for those unable to manage the complexities of organizing their own house move, as a result of either age or disability, together with a settling in service.

Prior to Relocation Services include –

  • helping to decide what to take to the new property- the service can include assistance with downsizing,
  • arranging for safe storage of valuable documents etc,
  • assistance with packing, clearing the property and disposing of unwanted goods,
  • arranging for and/or carrying out repairs and redecoration of the empty property,
  • renovation and maintenance of the garden prior to sale.

Post Relocation Services include –

  • preparing the new house for the move including arranging for and/or carrying out repairs and redecoration to the new property and renovation and maintenance of the garden,
  • assistance with unpacking,
