Smith, an 86 year old woman, with mild confusion and slight physical
frailty. A keen gardener and dog lover, she enjoys the wide
range of activities offered by The Oaks, a home providing good
quality accommodation and care.

Case 2 is
Edward Jones is a 79 year old man, with advanced dementia, who is often
agitated. He is losing his mobility and is currently on bed
rest. The Orchard Nursing home has had problems which were
highlighted in the latest CSCI report, but has shown a slight
improvement since the appointment of a new manager.
